Well I am a fan of A7X, so I decided to draw my favorite member, Synyster Gates

This has to be my first non-anime, realistic portrait ever o.o
I am so proud of myself!

Well I hope you guys like it, please don't mind the tattoos...I know they suck badly

I haven't seen the person in real so I will comment ignoring that. THe work is quite amazing. I love different lements of the work. Firstly, the dress and hte creases that you have worked in them. You usually make anime like characters and of course the style chosen for them differs than what is used for real life portraits. Here you have managed to work on them quite well and in a lot of detail as well.

Then there are the tattoo's. They are slightly blurred and shaded and i eprsonally prefer it that way. If you would have kept them too sharp then perhaps for me this work would have lost some appeal.

Then the face and the over all contrast of the work. It is quite amazing! I love the contrast between the dark and light reigos. The way you worked on hte hat with the slight whitish shade under it works well and the pitch black hair with the pale skin looks really well!

Finally, the way you have outlined the image with a white layer that is overlaid with the darkness that is essence of the work gives a really good final touch. Wonderful!

Oh and don't take the rating seriously here. I WILL give less for originality since it is a portrait and not an original work but that does not make it less amazing!

I really love how you did all the tattoos, they look just like his. I think it's really nice how you put SYN on his guitar too, it makes it look so realistic. And his face is just...so perfect.
You have skill.
There is so much detail. Down to the guitar strings to the belt.

I even like how you did his eyebrows, and his adams apple.
This is probably the most realistic, fantastic portrait I've ever seen of Syn, and it takes your artist skills up to a new level. Keep going, hun. You are an amazing artist and I love your work!
